ITINERARY
Day 01 Colombo - Pinnawala - Sigiriya
Arrive in Colombo - The capital city of Sri Lanka. We
proceed to Sigiriya. En-route visit Pinnawala elephant
orphanage - A home to retired and orphaned Elephants.
Visit Sri
Maha Bodhi, the oldest historically documented tree in
the world and Isurumuniya rock temple. Later proceed to
Sigiriya.
Extra Topping: Coconut water en-route to
Sigiriya.
Day 02 FSigiriya - Dambulla - Matale -
Kandy
Morning proceed to Dambulla. Enroute visit the Sigiriya
rock fortress - Lion rock and Frescoes of the Heavenly
Maidens at Sigiriya. Later visit Dambulla rock temple -
The
ancient caves and the tallest Buddha statue. Proceed to
Kandy via Matale to visit a famous spice garden. Arrive
Kandy in the evening. On arrival enjoy Kandy Cultural
Show.
Overnight Stay in Kuta: Return to Kuta for a relaxing
evening and overnight stay after your adventurous day
exploring Nusa Penida.
Day 03 Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy
Today visit the Temple of Tooth Relic - which is
housed in a giant stupa weighing 3,500 kilograms and
made from 320 kilograms of gold. Only monks are
allowed into the relic
chamber, but visitors will be able to see the tooth
relic from the public viewing area. Later proceed to
visit Kandy Lake, Kandy Town Bazaar, Arts and Crafts
center, Gems
museum and Lapidary. Enroute visit Peradeniya
Botanical Gardens. Evening arrive back in Kandy.
Day 04 Kandy - Hakgala - Nuwara Eliya
Proceed to Hakgala. En-route visit the Anjaneyar temple
in Ramboda where you can witness 18 feet Hanuman statue,
which is the tallest statue in Sri Lanka followed by a
visit
to Tea factory.
Explore an important site of Ramayana trail known as
Sita Eliya or Sita Amman Temple - It is a place believed
to be the site where Sita was held captive by Ravana.
Across
the stream you will see a rock with circular depression,
which is said to be the footprints of Hanumana.
Later visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens known as
Ashok Vatika - one of the pleasure gardens of King
Ravana. In the evening arrive at Nuwara Eliya.
Day 05 Nuwara Eliya - Ella - Yala
National Park
Proceed to Yala National Park - It is home to 44
varieties of mammal and 215 bird species which includes
the world's biggest concentration of leopards, majestic
elephants,
sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks,
and crocodiles. EN-route view Ravana waterfall.
Day 06Yala National Park - Galle -
Bentota
Morning enjoy a safari ride for a close encounter with
nature. Later proceed to Bentota. En-route we visit
Galle.
On arrival visit to Galle Dutch Fort, Galle fort clock
tower, Lighthouse, Galle International Cricket Stadium,
National Museum Galle. Evening arrive at Bentota.
Day 07 Bentota - Colombo
Morning we proceed to visit to Bentota - A rural coastal
town in Sri Lanka Famous for its pristine sandy beaches.
Bentota is a home to the majestic marine turtle, lies at
the finishing end of the ''Golden Mile'' from Colombo.
On arrival, enjoy the boat ride in Bentota. - known as
Paradise Island of the Sri Lanka. Here we also visit
Turtle
Hatchery. Later proceed to Colombo

en-route to Colombo.
Day 08 Departure from Colombo
Morning proceed to enjoy city orientation tour of
Colombo including 100 years old clock tower, Colonial
buildings built by British, Hindu and Buddhist temple
and the Bandaranaike
Memorial International, Parliament House, Police
Headquarters and President Palace. Later free for
shopping.
Then we board the flight to your hometown.
