Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy

Travel Moment aims to provide a transparent and fair policy for cancellations and refunds. All cancellation requests must be submitted to us in writing via email at info@travelmoment.co.in. The cancellation will be effective from the date we receive the written request.

2. Standard Cancellation Policy (Package Tours)

For our standard tour packages, the following cancellation charges will apply. The charges are a percentage of the total package cost:

  • 30 days or more before departure: 10% of the total package cost (this covers booking, processing, and administrative fees).
  • 15 to 29 days before departure: 25% of the total package cost.
  • 07 to 14 days before departure: 50% of the total package cost.
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the total package cost (No Refund).
  • No Show: 100% of the total package cost (No Refund).

3. Non-Refundable Services

Please be aware that certain components of your travel package are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount, regardless of the cancellation date. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Flight Tickets: All airline tickets are subject to the cancellation policy of the specific airline. Many promotional or economy fares are strictly non-refundable.
  • Visa Fees: Fees paid for visa processing are non-refundable.
  • Travel Insurance: Premiums paid for travel insurance are non-refundable.
  • Hotel Bookings: Bookings made at "non-refundable" rates cannot be refunded.
  • Special Arrangements: Costs for special event tickets, private guides, or other customized services that are booked and paid for in advance.

4. Cancellation by Travel Moment

In the unlikely event that Travel Moment has to cancel a tour (due to operational constraints, insufficient bookings, etc.), we will offer you two options:

  1. A full refund of all monies paid by you for the tour package.
  2. An alternative tour package of comparable standard, if available.

Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any refund if a tour is canceled due to a "Force Majeure" event (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, government orders). In such cases, we will pass on to you any refunds we are able to recover from our suppliers (hotels, airlines, etc.).

5. Refund Processing

After we approve a refund, it will be processed within 15 to 20 working days. The refund will be credited back to the original mode of payment used for the booking. Any bank processing fees or transaction charges associated with the refund will be deducted from the refund amount.

6. Booking Amendments

If you wish to change your travel dates or other details of your booking, we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

Any such amendments will incur an amendment fee (as per our policy) in addition to any charges or penalties imposed by the suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels) for the change.
